Our client, a leading organization in the technology and artificial intelligence sector, is seeking a Cognitive Linguist to join their innovative team. As a Cognitive Linguist you will be part of the AI Development Department supporting the Virtual Assistant Development Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Cognitive Linguis

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

What's the Job?

Build and maintain models for conversational AI virtual assistants to accurately identify end-user intent.

Automate updates to classifiers throughout development cycles to ensure optimal performance.

Develop algorithms and datasets, train machine learning models, and deploy them into production environments.

Research and experiment with emerging machine learning algorithms to enhance intent recognition capabilities.

Collaborate with data scientists, UX researchers, and engineering teams to develop the core intelligence of virtual assistants.

What's Needed?

Proficiency in Python and predictive modeling techniques.

Experience with natural language processing and conversational interface development.

Knowledge of machine learning algorithms for data classification, including linear SVM.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.

Strong communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
